Alyssa is sickies...

Poor Alyssa isn't feeling well. She started having a temp yesterday afternoon. It hasn't gone past 101.8 (that I know of since it wasn't higher then that when I checked). So if I don't post please bear with me.

LOL Guess what?? Alyssa is going to be a BIG SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep thats right.......its going to be baby time again come March!
We went yesterday and had the ultrasound so Alyssa got to see her new little sibling. :)
Though I don't think she understood but she was pointing at the monitor.
She's coming with me today for my doctor's appt. So she'll get to hear the heartbeat.

a little update

Hi everyone!
Its 10:31pm and Alyssa is asleep in my lap so I thought I'd write a quick update. Sorry that I haven't posted for awhile, been busy.
We have some new words here!
She can say Turtle, Al (Ow), Mike (Mie), Pepper, Bath, & Towel. ( I think thats all the new one's) I'm sure she'll have some new one's tomorrow.
Oh one of the cute things she was doing last night... she was laying on her tummy in the tub! It was funny and she was having a blast! She's getting better about letting me wash her hair. She even wants to help sometimes, which I think is great!!
I think we are cutting in some 2yr molars already. She was up at 2am-4:30am this morning. Then she decided that she was going to wake up at 7am! So needless to say she was a grumpy bear today. Poor Daddy! He had to watch her today since Mommy had to work.

Well I should probably get the little one to bed! Hopefully I'll have some time tomorrow to post a new picture.

Happy 17 Months to Alyssa!!

Yeah!! Alyssa is 17 months old today!!
This is the kind of mood that she's in right now. So hopefully she'll be in a better mood after a good morning nap.

What's up in the world of Alyssa......

Well I'm going to take some time right now while the angel is sleeping (Believe me she needed some sleep!) to post what she's been up to!

• she's between 18.5lbs-19.6lbs. It all depends on what scale you use. Ours says 19.6. We won't get the offical doctor's office one until Sept. 20th.
• She has 16 teeth now! But I think her last set of molars are working in too because she's been fussy, chewing on her fingers, and drooling.
• She's talking up a storm! We have some new words too. She now says, Nana, Papa, Turtle, Please and Thank-you. She combines 2-3 words now too, its so fun talking to her and trying to figure out everything. :)
  
• She hasn't been sleeping in her crib for about 1-2 months now. She is sleeping on her mattress on the floor. She sleeps a lot better like that. I took her out because she'd just scream in the crib.
  
• Her best friend moved in across the street a couple of months back. Alyssa even knows where the house is and wants to knock on the door when we walk past. LOL
• One of her favorite past times is chassing the cats all over the place. She's gotten really good at running after them.
  
• Another thing she loves to do is play the playstation with Daddy. Its so cute to watch them together. :) She always wants his controller though because I think she knows his works and her's isn't plugged in. LOL She's too smart.
• We have 4 signs under our belt too. She can sign milk, baby, hat, and more. I'm working on teaching her other's but they will come when they come. She really likes the signing DVD my Mom sent her. She picked up baby, hat and more from the DVD. And I just keep showing her them over and over. :)
  
  I know there is more but I can't think of anything else. So if I do I'll update it here!
